End August 03 – less than a month after my second lung surgery, I headed home – couldn't wait! I had been away seven long months.

My family and friends organized a big birthday party for me – I felt truly blessed.

As I had not recovered fully enough to "gallivant", I painted this picture from a Cleveland newspaper a week after arriving home. Another mother and child theme!
