In October 03, I went on holiday to Chiang Mai with my sisters and cousins. What fun we had! All were amazed by my boundless energy!  Was it credible that I had had two major operations, just months ago?

I picked up some postcards as souvenirs of the trip. See also Chiang Rai Girl (No 26) and
Lesor Hill Tribe Man (No 37). I was drawn to this card of the novice monk – such serenity in so young a child. In qigong we are constantly reminded that tranquility and calmness are essential for effective practice. I was far from this goal.
