This is my first "landscape" painting, of the garden at home, done from the verandah. The verandah is my favourite place at home, especially in the evenings.  I love to put my feet up and, with a cup of tea, absorb the calmness of the surrounding greenery.  One can hear several species of birds sing, and see the occasional squirrel scuttle by.
I would then indulge in my special gardening talent - weeding!
