28. Beijing Opera

The Beijing Opera was in town. Some years ago I had attended the performance of a similar troupe, but sad to say, the intricacies were entirely lost on me due to my inadequate command of Mandarin as well as sparse knowledge of the Chinese legends. I am pleased to report that thanks to qigong, I now have a basic vocabulary and can usually make myself understood. Deciphering the reply needs more work!
