I went to several camps with my qigong group where hundreds of practitioners would gather.

A unique feature of Zhineng Qigong is the phenomenon of the "qi field". Where committed parties gather and practise in concert with one mind, a field of energy is accumulated which far transcends the sum of its parts. This powerful reservoir of energy can be directed for healing as well as for whatever else! Several motivational experiments were conducted - novices twisted steel spoons, needles snapped without touch, and even fat was dispersed from bulky participants! Mind over matter!
